E-invoice viewer

An XRechnung or a Peppol invoice is XML that no person reads comfortably. Open it here and the page shows it as an invoice: seller and buyer, dates and references, the lines, allowances and charges, the VAT breakdown, the totals and the payment details, with the German and French terms next to the English labels. The file is read in your browser by the same parser the API uses; nothing is uploaded unless you ask for the official check.

Open an e-invoice

Read in your browser: nothing is uploaded to view the file. The optional check below sends it to the API, which does not store it.

What the viewer reads

Every business term the API’s invoice model holds: the parties (names, addresses, VAT and registration identifiers, electronic addresses, contacts), the invoice number, type, dates, buyer reference or Leitweg-ID, order and contract references, the preceding invoice, the lines, the document-level allowances and charges, the VAT breakdown with its exemption reasons, the totals, the payment means and terms, the notes.

For developers

The same reading as JSON: POST https://veriport.io/api/v1/einvoice/parse returns the invoice in the model POST /einvoice/create accepts, plus notInJson; ?as=pdf returns a readable PDF/A-3 copy in German, English, French or Dutch. 5 calls a document, key required.

Questions

Is the file uploaded?
Not to view it: the parser runs in your browser. Only the optional official check sends the file to the API, which checks it in memory and does not keep it.
Can it open any PDF invoice?
Only a hybrid PDF with the invoice XML embedded (ZUGFeRD, Factur-X, XRechnung in PDF). A plain PDF has no structured data to read.

Read received invoices from your own code: 100 free calls a month, then from $9.
